Vote for the Next Two Pierce County Library Card Designs by May 10

Twelve students honored as finalists for library card design artwork 

A public vote will decide the look of the next two Pierce County Library cards. Online voting takes place now through May 10 at http://bit.ly/card-design-contest.

The library system debuts new student-designed cards every other year. This year’s free contest drew 205 entries done in pencil, pen, paint, camera and computer. K-12 students living or attending school in Pierce County were eligible to enter.

One winner will be chosen in each category: K-6 and 7-12. The winning designs will appear on new library cards starting in fall 2015. All ages can request the new cards. Pierce County Library cards are always free.
