400+ Graduates to be Recognized at 2015 CPTC Commencement Ceremony

More than 400 students were recognized at the 18th Annual CPTC Graduation Ceremony at the Tacoma Dome on June 18, 2014.

More than 400 students were recognized at the 18th Annual CPTC Graduation Ceremony at the Tacoma Dome on June 18, 2014.
More than 400 students were recognized at the 18th Annual CPTC Graduation Ceremony at the Tacoma Dome on June 18, 2014.

Clover Park Technical College will recognize more than 400 students receiving their degree, certificate or diploma for the 2014 – 2015 academic year at the 19th Annual Graduation Ceremony Friday, June 19, at 6:30 p.m. at the Tacoma Dome.

The graduating class includes 94 veterans and 21 international students.

The ceremony’s keynote speaker is Jenette Ramos, vice president for commercial airplanes and general manager at The Boeing Company. The student speaker is Katie Stock, CPTC Associated Student Government president.

CPTC’s “Wear it Forward” program, aimed at gathering used graduation gowns for future graduates, distributed 45 gowns in its second year.

The graduation ceremony is open to the public.
