For those who love motorcycles and saving money, LeMay – America’s Car Museum (ACM) is offering discount admission and registration for the fifth annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival: The MEET at ACM on July 30. Early bird pricing is $15 for general admission and $15 for motorcycle registration through July 15. After that, prices go up to $20 through the event day.

If you’ve wanted to visit the museum, July 30 is a great time — admission to The MEET includes admission to ACM.

The Vintage Motorcycle Festival runs from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the Haub Family Field at ACM. Hundreds of pre-1991 motorcycles and scooters will be displayed, from storied brands including Harley-Davidson, BMW, Ducati, Triumph, Indian, Honda, Norton, Kawasaki, BSA and many others. Visitors will also enjoy food trucks, vendors, free seminars, and stunt riding performances from the Seattle Cossacks Motorcycle Stunt and Drill Team.

All motorcycle riders — not just those with vintage bikes — are invited to join the Sunday Ride, a scenic ride through the Mount Rainier valley. Organized by the Vintage Motorcycle Enthusiast Club (VME), the 75-mile loop ride on July 31 departs from the Anderson Plaza at ACM, follows back roads and the Carbon River, and then returns to the Haub Family Field at ACM for lunch. The $20 registration includes lunch. Online registration is open through the day of the ride.

“Bikers know that life can take you down some interesting roads when you’re on two wheels,” said David Madeira, ACM CEO and current member of both the Northwest Norton Owners and the Vintage Motorcycle Enthusiasts. “That’s why every year thousands of fans and hundreds of vintage bikes come to The MEET at ACM to share the unique history and stories directly related to these bikes.”

The top-rated motorcycles on display will be recognized with the Best of Show, class awards and five Judges’ Choice ribbons.
