Call of Artists for Public Art in Ancich Park

The Gig Harbor Arts Commission is pleased to announce a Call for Artists to create a public art piece that will be permanently installed at Ancich Park, located at 3615 Harborview Drive, in downtown Gig Harbor.

  • Project Budget  $50,000 **
  • proposal due date September 15, 2017
  • review period October – December 2017
  • award notification late 2017
  • installation late Spring 2018

Please visit the City’s website for more information.  Eligibility:  The project is open to all established and professional artists regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, age, military status, sexual orientation, marital status, or physical or mental disability.  Artist teams are eligible to apply, including teams of artists from multiple disciplines.  Artists under the age of 18 are not eligible.

** NOTE: The budget for this project includes all costs associated with the project including, but not limited to, artist’s design fee, travel, material, fabrication costs, documentation, transportation and all installation expenses.
