Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber is recognizing Children’s Therapy Center, recipient of the 2017 Spotlight on Business Awards: Non-Profit Business. This award recognizes a non-profit organization dedicating their time to making a difference to our local community through their mission statement.
Children’s Therapy Center is recognized as one of the few pediatric therapy centers statewide that accepts Medicaid and serves children 3 and older. We fill a critical role by ensuring that low-income Pierce County children with special needs can receive the therapy they need, regardless of their income, insurance coverage, or other potential barriers. Children’s Therapy Center is committed to making its services as accessible as possible for all families. To ensure that Pierce County families can access our services, we offer sliding fees, payment plans, and uncompensated (charity) care for the families we serve based on their income, household size, and their insurance coverage.
