Nestled in the heart of the historic South Tacoma business district, this beige building stands on the southeast corner of 54th and South Tacoma Way and has been underutilized, waiting to be given new life. This more than 100-year-old building is now bustling with life as an almost 5,000-square-foot coworking facility: SURGESouthTacoma.
It is an additional location for Tacoma’s founding coworking space, SURGEtacoma, which for the past five years has empowered startups, freelancers, entrepreneurs, and more by providing offices, shared work spaces, resources, and networking opportunities. Our coworking space suits the needs of individuals as well as businesses, and we are home to solo remote workers, entire business teams, and everything in between! At SURGESouthTacoma, you can enjoy all the perks of renting an office without the stress (and cost) of running it yourself; we take care of the furnishing, security, internet, office supplies, coffee, etc. so that you don’t have to. Our goal is to help you grow your business by providing you with the right tools and atmosphere to get the job done the way you need to. SURGESouthTacoma offers month-to-month memberships whose prices include all the utilities and amenities – high-speed internet, printing, incoming mail service, conference room bookings, coffee/tea, and access to our private parking lot – so that there are no surprises.
