Museum Fun Days – Universal Children’s Day

The United Nations declared a Universal Children’s Day on November 20 in 1954 as a way to encourage countries around the world to “promote [children’s] rights to survive and thrive.” At the Children’s Museum of Tacoma, we honor children and champion play, everyday. Paying special honor to children this week, you and your child will be invited to contribute to a collaborative, self-portrait piece that will showcase your child’s unique gifts and contributions to our community.
