We’re gearing up for another great season of planting in the Ohop! But before we can put any trees in the ground, we need help placing plants in appropriate spots.

The Nisqually River Education Project brings school groups from all over Pierce and Thurston Counties to help plant on our properties. By placing these plants beforehand, we can ensure that native trees and shrubs are planted in areas that best suit their growing needs. This preparation increases survival rates and is an important step in the recovery of Ohop Valley!
