Enjoy Halloween-inspired fun and exciting activities without the fright at Boo Bash, October 22-31. Navigate a straw bale maze, explore a black-light cavern, design a scarecrow family, go on a scavenger hunt, decorate mini pumpkins, watch Dr. Science demos, join the costume parade, and more! Hands On is the premier children’s museum in the PNW. Explore 150 interactive exhibits and a half-acre outdoor play space where kids can ride trikes, sluice for treasure, captain a vintage schooner, climb a giant boulder, and go up the lighthouse lookout.

Sensory-friendly Boo Bash activities will be offered during our regular Sensory Friendly Hour, October 24 & 31 at 9 am.

Dia de los Muertos Celebration @ 6th & Pine, Tacoma

Join 6th Ave Tacoma and Tacoma Sister Cities as they host the Dia de los Muertos Celebration October 29th from 3-10pm to remember the dead + party for the living. Paint your face, wear a mask, get dressed up or come as you are. Learn more about the Dia de los Muertos history, join the sidewalk skeleton parade down 6th Ave with dead bread and hot chocolate after, listen to live music by the Anjali Silva Quarteto and the Flor de Luna Band, eat latinx food and shop local craft vendors. This is a Free family friendly community event on 6th & Pine across the street from Engine House No. 9. All are welcome! Hope to see you there! In partnership with Tacoma Housing Authority, Hilltop Business Association, Hilltop Action Coalition, and Downtown on the Go, Tacoma Community House invites the community to Halloween on the Hill!

Masks and Distancing Required
Costumes Encouraged
Rain or Shine

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS TO DECORATE TRUNKS/BOOTHS AND HAND OUT TREATS AS WELL AS VOLUNTEERS TO DONATE TREATS!
