This modern fairy tale performance is inspired by childhood classes like Alice in Wonderland and The Little Mermaid. The show follows Mr. B, a creature of modern habits who feels like the world is moving too fast when he discovers a little aquarium that appears like magic inside his briefcase. He gradually becomes enchanted by the wondrous underwater world of Bubblelandia, which is full of seahorses, dragon fish, starfish, mermaids and other creatures. Taking cues from Cirque du Soleil, this visually spectacular event incorporates the latest in stage technology with lasers, low ground smoke, flying foam and a spectacular use of soap bubbles in various artistic ways, which simulate a breathtaking underwater atmosphere.

Mini Maestros: Peter and the Wolf @ Scneebeck Concert Hall

Join us for the final concert of our Mini Maestros series for children ages 2–8 years old. This concert features Symphony Tacoma musicians performing Sergei Prokofiev’s 1936 classic Peter and the Wolf. This marvelous work tells a story in which each character is portrayed by a different instrument.

This concert series is presented by the Community Music Department in partnership with Symphony Tacoma. The University of Puget Sound Community Music Department is a year round music program offering music instruction for children and adults of all ages and experience levels.
