The City of Puyallup  welcomes Kiwanis International President Dr. John R. Button to a dedication ceremony of the Kiwanis Kids Spray Park at Pioneer Park on Wednesday, February 11, at 10 a.m.  Pioneer Park is located at 324 S. Meridian in downtown Puyallup. Members of the public are also invited to attend.

The new spray park, which broke ground in December 2014, is scheduled to be completed and opened to the public in May 2015. “The Spray Park will be the first for the City of Puyallup and will be an exciting addition to our wonderful Parks system. It will feature 6 above ground features and numerous ground sprays,” said Parks and Recreation Director Sarah Harris. The project is funded by Puyallup Parks Capital Improvement Project funds and a generous donation of $50,000 from the Kiwanis Club of Puyallup.

More information on the project can be found on the City of Puyallup website.

The dedication ceremony is part of the Kiwanis 100 Years celebration.
