After a long hot summer, a second expansion in less than two years, and a new distribution deal up north, Gig Harbor Brewing was finally able to follow through with their canning plans for their best-selling Giggly Blonde Ale.
Gig Harbor was planning to can the light ale earlier in the summer, but delays caused by their new relationship with Crown Distributing, and the installation of two new 20 Bbl fermentors in July — and subsequent hurry-up-and-catch-up — delayed their canning efforts until last week.
12-ounce cans of Giggly Blonde are currently available in Gig Harbor Brewing’s Tacoma taproom, and will soon be available in 12 western Washington counties through Olympic Eagle Distributing and Crown Distributing.
