SCJ Alliance Kicks off 2023 by Hiring New Team Members

Senior Planner, Graphic Designer, Engineering Technician Join SCJ

SCJ Alliance has added three new employees: a senior planner and graphic designer in the Lacey office and an engineering technician in the Gig Harbor office.

Senior Planner David Wright has a master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the College of Environmental Science and Forestry and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Boise State University. In addition to English, David speaks ASL, German, French, and Spanish.

Graphic Designer Jay Cordovado has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Georgia, with a major in Interdisciplinary Art & Design and a minor in English. They have also been a successful, entrepreneurial artist for many years.

Engineering Technician Madeline Wolff has nearly completed her degree in civil engineering from Saint Martin’s University. Construction field experience, computer-aided design skills, and familiarity with WSDOT code are all talents she brings to SCJ.

 A 100% employee-owned firm, SCJ has over 140 employees and specializes in civil engineering, transportation planning and design, environmental and urban planning, landscape architecture, cable-propelled transit, construction management, and public outreach.

SCJ has earned many awards for project work and for being a great place to work. In addition to the Lacey and Gig Harbor offices, SCJ has offices in Seattle and Fremont, as well as others across Washington, Montana, and Colorado.
