Looking for heart-stopping, feet-pounding fun? The Grays Harbor Mounted Posse Indoor Pro Rodeo is a great family-friendly activity in Elma that will keep you on the edge of your seat! Happening March 20-22, 2026, at the Grays Harbor County Fairgrounds, the rodeo features all your favorite events – come with the family, as a date night or with a group of friends!
“Our lifetime members, 30 years ago, took out personal loans to start the rodeo,” shares Kevin Wagner, Grays Harbor Mounted Posse Indoor Pro Rodeo secretary. “And it has bloomed into what it is today: a local rodeo at a great price for families and individuals to experience the cowboy or cowgirl lifestyle for a few hours and enjoy the atmosphere.”
Purchase your tickets starting February 28 at the Grays Harbor Fairgrounds; Les Schwab in Elma and Aberdeen; Montesano Farm & Feed; Elma Feed; The Martin Co.; Tack Room Too in Tumwater; Centerville Western Wear in Centralia; and The Rusty Spur in Grand Mound.

Grays Harbor Rodeo Promises a Thrilling Event in Elma for All Ages
Watch approximately 120 cowboys and cowgirls compete for prize money – including an extra $500 added to each event for the finals – in all your favorite rodeo events! The Grays Harbor Mounted Posse Indoor Pro Rodeo includes bareback riding; bull dogging; team roping; calf roping; saddle bronc riding; breakaway roping; wild cow milking; and fan favorites bull riding and barrel racing.
The size of the Grays Harbor County Fairgrounds gives each attendee a rare experience to be very close to the action! “Most people do not get to see rodeos as up close as they do at the Elma rodeo,” shares Kevin. It’s two hours of non-stop action, thrills and grit.
Doors open at 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday for the 7 p.m. performances. Come early and shop the local vendors, grab a drink at the beer garden and get settled in your seats. Those 21-and-over can always watch the rodeo live-streamed in the beer garden, too.
Saturday night, get ready to dance the night away with live music from local legend Cory Daniels and the Humptulips! This incredibly fun event is included in your ticket price, making it a great date night idea. Kids will be allowed in the food court area during the music, but not in the beer garden. ID will be checked.

Sunday is Kid’s Day and Tuff Enough to Wear Pink Day at Grays Harbor Rodeo
Looking for a safe kid’s activity in Grays Harbor? Spend the day at the Rodeo on Sunday! “The rodeo is a safe family setting for all age groups, it is a small-town venue where everyone is family, and everyone knows your name,” shares Kevin.
Doors open at 10 a.m. for Kid’s Day, with a ton of activities to keep the littles entertained, including face painting and a bouncy house! During the rodeo, your kids can take part in the stick horse race during the half-time break! Rodeo starts at 2 p.m. with seating starting at 12 p.m. Kids activities go until 1 p.m.
Be sure to wear your pink on Sunday!
Not that you need another reason to attend the rodeo – isn’t a day of sweat, tears, grit and determination enough? – but the Grays Harbor Mounted Posse is a nonprofit organization. The proceeds of the rodeo go right back into the Grays Harbor community! Monies are donated to our local food banks, local backpack programs for youth, scholarships and local families needing a little extra help.
It’s time to spend a fun day that pays it forward. Be sure to get your tickets before they sell out!
