Job Carr Cabin Museum is offering socially-distanced Craft Saturdays! Take-home craft kits include all the materials and instructions needed for a fun at-home activity.

May 15, Cabin Kids Art Challenge
– Children can use the materials provided in this take-home craft kit to create an original artwork for the 2021 Cabin Kids Art Challenge.
– The Cabin Kids Art Challenge begins 5/1. The Museum’s annual art contest is open to children age 12 and under. One entry per child.
– Artwork can be inspired by one of five themes: Log Cabin, Oregon Trail, Railroad, Post Office, or Tacoma History.
– To be entered in the 2021 Cabin Kids Art Challenge, send a photo of artwork must be received by 11pm on 5/31 to jobcarr@jobcarrmuseum.org. Be sure to include child’s name, age, and zip code.

Pick up a free craft kits from the Museum’s front porch, 11am – 1pm, while supplies last, at Job Carr Cabin Museum, 2350 N 30th St, Tacoma, WA 98403

Please use social distancing etiquette when you pick up your craft kit.
Instructional videos will also be posted on the Museum’s YouTube channel.

These Craft Saturday events are designed to meet state and local public health guidelines.
– All visitors must wear face coverings.
– Please maintain at least six feet distance from other museum visitors.
– Visitors will not be able to enter the museum building.
