Join us on Anderson Island to plant trees and shrubs. These plants will help restore native forest near South Oro Bay.

This event requires you to drive your own vehicle onto the Anderson Island Ferry out of Steilacoom, WA (unless, of course, you live close to or on Anderson Island). The ferry costs around $20 round trip for the driver and an average size vehicle (there is a senior discount).

Take the 8:20 ferry to Anderson Island. We will finish the work party in time for you to catch the 12:45 pm ferry, and there are also return times at 3:15PM and 4:25PM,

Once on the island, you will head to the worksite, following the directions sent to you via e-mail with your registration confirmation. The work site is a 10-minute drive from the ferry terminal.

Register via Eventbrite for directions to the worksite (click “Tickets” for the link).

Work parties are rain or shine. Individual, pre-packaged, light snacks are provided. Minors are welcome provided they are accompanied by an adult.
