Reflecting the legendary story of Vlad the Impaler, the Transylvanian Count Dracula, Tacoma City Ballet’s Dracula, an original ballet fashioned from this classic tale, will premier this October featuring fabulous dancers, a brilliant musical score, opulent scenery and luxurious costumes. Audience members are encouraged to attend in costume.

Dracula is suitable for all ages, and the perfect addition to your celebration of Halloween.

Trunk-or-Treat @ Links to Opportunity

It’s everyone’s FAVORITE event of the year, TCH’S annual TRUNK OR TREAT!

On Wednesday, October 31st, we will host our annual trunk or treat in the Links to Opportunity Parking Lot (formally Key Bank) located at 1120 South 11th Street, Tacoma, WA, 98405.

This year we have space for 18 trunks. If you are interested in hosting a trunk, please respond to this email. Remember, no gore or violent depictions!

This year, Party City has graciously agreed to sponsor our event. Spend $75 and get 10% off, spend $125+ and get 15% off. Great place to go for trunk decorations!

There will be prizes awarded for best trunk themes and best costumes + best trunk themes.

Trunk or treat is a great way to promote your agency, program and or services! Annually, TCH has 150+ attendees at our harvest celebrations. Join us, promote your business and have some fun with local families!

Exceptional Families Network Parent Workshop @ Children's Musuem of Tacoma

Returning October, Second Thursdays (October 11, November 8, December 13)
Description: The Children’s Museum of Tacoma, together with the Exceptional Families Network’s support group and SPECIAL Families of Pierce County, hosts a monthly evening program for families with children who have special needs.
Registration information: Advance registration through SPECIAL Families of Pierce County is required for admission of all children into the museum on workshop nights. Parents will need to complete an online intake form for each child they plan to bring. To request an intake form and register your child, please contact SPECIAL Families of Pierce County at specialfamiliestacoma@gmail.com.

PBS Playdate @ Children's Museum of Tacoma

The Children’s Museum of Tacoma is proud to partner with KBTC to provide a PBS Playdate one Saturday a month from 10-11:30 am. The Museum and KBTC staff provide hands-on opportunities for families to expand upon favorite PBS Kids shows like Daniel Tiger and Curious George, through art, science, invention, or craft.
