Tacoma Youth Symphony and Friends Walk

Tacoma On the Go and the Tacoma Youth Symphony Association (TYSA) invite community members to join the TYSA & Friends Walk on Wednesday, July 8, from 6:00–7:30 PM in downtown Tacoma.
Returning for its fourth year as part of the Walk Tacoma Series, this unique event brings together walking, music, and community exploration through a guided tour featuring youth musicians, arts organizations, and creative partners from across the city.
Beginning at Theatre on the Square Plaza (917 Broadway), participants will experience a series of musical performances, creative stops, and conversations that highlight the important role of arts and culture in civic life. Along the route, attendees will hear from young artists and arts leaders while exploring how music, creativity, and community engagement contribute to a vibrant and connected Tacoma.
The TYSA & Friends Walk offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity to experience downtown Tacoma through the lens of the arts while celebrating the next generation of local talent.
The walk is free and open to the public. Participants of all ages are encouraged to attend.
