THE WITCHING HOUR: AN ENCHANTED MARKET BRINGS AN EVENING OF MAGIC, ARTISTRY AND CURIOSITY TO GIG HARBOR
Something enchanting is coming to Gig Harbor this fall.
The Witching Hour: An Enchanted Market will take place Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Volunteer Vern Pavilion at Sehmel Homestead Park, bringing together an eclectic collection of makers, artists, creators and practitioners for an intimate evening celebrating creativity, connection, curiosity and the magic of the changing season.
Created and conjured by Jennifer of Stellar Soirées Event Creation and Melody Martel of The Daily Ritual, The Witching Hour was inspired by a desire to create something different from a traditional market: an immersive evening where guests can slow down, wander, connect with others and discover something unexpected.
This is the first Witching Hour, and the organizers wanted to create an experience that feels like stepping into another little world for an evening. Guests are invited to gather with friends, come on their own, get a little witchy and welcome the magic of fall.
The 16+ ticketed event will feature more than 20 carefully curated vendors offering an eclectic mix of handmade, artistic, mystical and specialty goods, including ceramics, stained glass, jewelry, crystals, vintage clothing and books, candles and fragrance, apothecary goods, botanicals, gothic and romantic art, specialty foods, tarot and other unusual treasures.
Guests will also experience a variety of interactive offerings and atmospheric details throughout the evening, including:
The Daily Ritual Spell Bar, where guests can create a botanical spell jar keepsake using herbs, florals, salts, crystals and other natural elements.
The Tarot Parlour, featuring tarot and intuitive offerings.
The Curiosities Collection Giveaway, a specially assembled collection of treasures, experiences and beautiful oddities contributed by participating vendors and sponsors. Every ticket includes entry into the giveaway.
Botanical libations, including a complimentary botanical welcome drink.
Witching Hour Nibbles, featuring small bites for guests to enjoy while exploring the event.
Music and atmospheric sounds, along with enchanted décor, candlelit-inspired styling, a styled photo moment and interactive installations designed to transform the pavilion into an enchanting evening marketplace.
The $50 ticket includes entry to the event, access to 20+ curated vendors, The Daily Ritual Spell Bar keepsake experience, a complimentary botanical welcome drink, Witching Hour Nibbles, music and atmospheric experiences, and entry into The Curiosities Collection Giveaway.
Specialty experiences such as tarot and intuitive readings, flash tattoos, portraits and other select offerings may be available for an additional fee paid directly to participating artists and practitioners.
The event is designed to welcome people who love the unique, curious, whimsical, handmade and beautifully unexpected.
Guests are encouraged to come with friends, make it a date, gather with family or come by themselves and simply see what they discover. The evening is centered around connection, exploration and enjoying something a little different.
