Women Painters of Washington at Lakewold Gardens

Artists of the South Sound chapter of Women Painters of Washington will be featured from May 1 through July 26, 2026, in the Lakewold Gardens Wagner House Art Series. “Wagner House, built in 1908 and renovated in 1958 in a classic Georgian style, offers a unique and flexible setting for exhibitions. The artwork is given context by the views of nature that greet guests from every window.”
The participating artists are Laraine Wade, Janice Tayler, Judith Smith, Mia Schulte, Kellis Parlett, Judith Perry, Karen O’Brien, Patsy O’Connell, Janci Mannington, Amy Lewis, Joan Hitchcock, Julie Creighton and Carol Colin.
Lakewold Gardens is at 12317 Gravelly Lake Drive Southwest, Lakewood, WA 98499. Spring/Summer/Fall Hours are 10 am to 5 pm Wed – Sun. A reception for the artists will take place after the gardens close on Friday, May 1 from 5pm to 8pm. Refreshments will include light snacks and wine.
