Operation Chill Puyallup

Submitted by City of Puyallup

On Thursday, August 3, 2017, Officers and staff from the Puyallup Police Department will visit several City of Puyallup Parks at 2 PM for Operation Chill Puyallup.

Operation Chill Puyallup is a program in partnership with the 7-Eleven Corporation where Officers observe children doing good deeds or exhibiting good behavior and receive a ticket from the Officer. The ticket is actually a coupon good for a free 12-oz Slurpee at any participating 7-11 store.

Thursday is expected to be the hottest day of the year in Puyallup so our Officers will be out in force at 2:00 p.m. handing out tickets to children in our City parks for a Slurpee.

The actual parks Officers and staff will be visiting will be released via the City of Puyallup’s Facebook and Twitter channels on Thursday morning.
