Featured pet Tony came to shelter as an injured stray, down on his luck. He had sustained a complete and complicated fracture, and vet staff elected to amputate one of his limbs — the best pathway for the 4-year-old. Our mellow boy calmly accepted that he would be a tripod cat, and even after surgery has retained his easygoing nature.
In order for our 3-legged love to lead a full and enjoyable life, we’re recommending that Tony’s new family be cat savvy. Children will need to be understanding and respectful, allowing Tony his space at times.
Tony’s adoption fee has been waived as part of our Cat Days of Summer Special, so never was there a better time to give the gift of a second chance. #A499196
