Say Farewell to 2016 at Quinault Beach

Trends often repeat in both entertainment and fashion. With that in mind, let’s all agree that 2016 was a Vaudevillian pratfall and wave it a fond farewell while celebrating New Year’s at Quinault Beach Resort and Casino.

“Vaudeville was characterized by sunny optimism, acts that were uplifting, cheerful, and clean. It provided a fanciful, magical escape,” explains author Karen Abbott. After the tumult of an election year and endless global unrest, the Universe is rewarding us by having New Year’s Eve fall on a Saturday night. Save your vacation hours for a rainy day and schedule an easy New Year’s vacation thanks to Quinault Beach.

The evening starts with a New Year’s Eve Buffet from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Great Hall. Reservations are highly recommended and seating is $39.95 per person for everyone 21+. Diners can find a carving station loaded with prime rib and poached lobster tails, Seafood Newberg, sherry garlic shrimp, Cajun pork loin, and baked salmon. Side dishes are loaded with andouille sausage, Dungeness crab, prawns, and oysters, and an assortment of cheeses, vegetables, and charcuterie.

But save room for desserts, cakes, puddings, tartes, fruit kabobs, and cookies too. Can’t make a sit-down supper? The on-site Bistro will have extended hours until 3:00 a.m. on New Year’s Eve.

From 11:00 p.m. until 1:00 a.m., the Great Hall becomes a free Back to Vaudeville extravaganza. Guests can enjoy party favors, psychics, caricature artists, and more while dancing to a live DJ. Don’t miss the countdown to midnight and celebratory balloon drop welcoming 2017.
