3. Enjoy a Journey on the Downtown to Defiance Trolley

The Downtown to Defiance Trolley is a Pierce Transit pilot project that made its maiden voyage on June 2. Though it’s not technically a trolley, but instead a cute, petite bus that is dressed up to look like one. The Downtown to Defiance exudes a trolley-like charm and invites commuters, both Tacomans and tourist alike, to immerse themselves in some of very best that ole T-Town has to offer.

4. Wet Coast Brewing Celebrates Two Years of South Sound Suds

After a couple years brewing and having their beers received really well by friends and family and the boom of craft beer, Bryan Copeland and Aaron Johnson decided we wanted to make a go at it. Once Copeland and Johnson secured a location in Gig Harbor, Wet Coast Brewing started on their first batch in May of 2015, opening the doors to their taproom a month later.
