Kids and Teens Will Design Pierce County Library’s Newest Library Cards

pierce county library card contestKids and teens, showcase your artwork on Pierce County Library System’s newest library cards during the library’s biennial card design contest running March 9–27, 2015.

Any K–12 student living or attending school in Pierce County is eligible to enter the free contest. One winner will be chosen in each category: K–6 and 7–12. The winning designs will appear on new library cards starting in fall 2015. All ages can request the new cards. Pierce County Library cards are always free.

Professional artists will select the finalists. The public will select the winners by online vote in the spring. Full entry guidelines and contest forms at www.piercecountylibrary.org, search site: card design. Paper entry forms available at all Pierce County Library locations.
