Youth volunteers read and play literacy games with young readers, Mondays, July 7 – Aug. 18, 4 – 5 p.m.

Reading buddy volunteers are mentors who give children extra reading practice in a fun environment. They are not tutors.

Ages 5 – 8: Partner with a reading buddy

·         Ask at the Help Desk for an application.

Ages 11 – 18: Volunteer to be a reading buddy

·         Ask at the Help Desk for reading buddy application and criminal background check form

·         Visit piercecountylibrary.org, search site: volunteer. Fill out library volunteer application.

Participate in volunteer training, Monday, June 30 @ 4 p.m.
