From historical paintings to modern selfies, cultures around the globe have used portraiture as a means to communicate issues of identity. Artist Chris Crites, known for his series of boldly painted mug shots, will guide participants through an exploration of identity while they create unique portraits. Teachers can earn up to three clock hours by attending the workshop.
