Being an EnvirStar Certified Business, Bristow’s is focused on reducing waste, saving water and energy, recycling, and using less hazardous materials. We receive period audits to confirm compliance with waste handling practices and we have developed programs for spill response preparedness. We added secondary containment for storage of drums and tanks and keep supplies on hand where spills are most likely to occur.
Bristow’s participates in the City of Tacoma’s commingled recycling program and other forms of recycling to reduce the quantity of debris being sent to the landfill.
We utilize Tacoma Power‘s incentives and rebates program by replacing and upgrading shop lighting, including the use of new LED lighting on the inside as well as the outside of the building.
