The Sound to Narrows is Washington State’s oldest 12K and the South Sound’s favorite run. This community event taking place the second Saturday in June. The event offers a challenging and scenic 12K run through Pt. Defiance Park, a fast 5K through Tacoma’s north end neighborhood, a fun 2K Junior Shuffle, and the always delightful Diaper Dash. Walkers are welcome for both the 5K and 12K. After the race, enjoy the Healthy Living Expo, awards, lively music, and camaraderie with fellow participants.
