In this documentary, director Pamela B. Green pays tribute to pioneer filmmaker Alice Guy-Blaché whose career came to an abrupt end after a successful life in the movie business. The film is also a detective story, tracing the circumstances by which this extraordinary artist faded from memory and the path toward her reclamation.
