LBGTQ+ Parenting Support Group meeting

A new support group for LBGTQ+ parents, “Parenting Proud,” will meet via Zoom the first Wednesday of each month. It was launched by Olympia-based Family Education and Support Regional Resilience Center (FESS) and is free. Led by Olympia child therapist and LBGTQ+ parent Sandy Hurd, the group will enable LGBTQ+ parents, whether or not they have LBGTQ+ children, opportunities to share parenting experiences, strengthen their parenting skills, ask questions, celebrate family milestones and give each other parenting support.
