Bring the entire family to Theatre on the Square to see local student actors in a rock n’ roll version of the classic tale of identity-switch, “The Prince & the Pauper: A New Rock Musical.”  Tickets are on sale now and may be purchased through the Broadway Center Box Office. All performances will have Sign Language Interpretation.

Performed by an impressive group of 35 local young actors ages 6 to 18, this production marks the culmination of two weeks of enthusiastic rehearsals and preparation. The summer musical students will perform an original script by local composer and playwright Gabriel McPherson. “The Prince & the Pauper: A New Rock Musical” is a family-friendly performance that focuses on the importance finding one’s way in life and the power of forgiveness.

The Broadway Center Conservatory summer musical program provides the opportunity for local youth to learn lines, songs, blocking, choreography, and even to build and decorate set and prop pieces. Attending a summer camp performance is a great way to introduce your children to the theater, while supporting local youth.
