The Ruston Way waterfront experienced significant changes in the past 160 years, evolving from a forested natural shoreline to a busy industrial hub to a leisurely recreational space. This tour focuses on the people, businesses and historical events that were part of Tacoma’s first working waterfront. Begins at Old Town Dock, 2200 N Ruston Way.
There is one guided tour each month, June-Sept
