Dr. Steven Broughton has dedicated his career to sharing his mission and commitment to every Light Dental Studios employee, by encouraging them to embody these very values. Every year, Dr. Broughton and Light Dental Studios have committed to giving back to the community, through community service projects such as: cleaning up local beaches, park and trail restoration, and providing a day of free dental care to those in need. During these events, all Light Dental Studios locations are closed to bring the entire company together to participate. Being locally owned and operated since 1997, Light Dental Studios has a deep and passionate commitment to the South Sound communities, and this follows them to every aspect of their care.
As Light Dental Studios is quickly approaching their second annual South Sound Free Dental Day on May 20, they want to continue their commitment to giving back to the community. Last year South Sound Free Dental Day brought together 14 Light Dental Studios doctors and 75 staff members in their Puyallup location to provide over $50,000 of free dental care to more than 150 patients. Patients were provided with free screenings and treatment of one free filling or extraction on a first-come first-served basis.
This year Light Dental Studios is extending this event to two locations – their University Place and Puyallup offices – in hopes that they may give back to more of the community.
