Even Angus Young, lead guitarist and songwriter for the original Australian rock group AC/DC gave them an endorsement. “The best AC/DC band I’ve ever heard? There was an all-girl band in America, Hells Belles,” he said in 2003. You are not going to want to miss this party happening at Quinault Beach Resort & Casino Saturday, July 24 at 8 p.m. during Hog Wild in Ocean Shores. Hell’s Belles always perform to sold-out crowds. During Hog Wild Weekend, you get the chance to hear them for free!
Hell’s Bells concerts deliver a wickedly awesome evening of talented women performing the best of AC/DC. From “Highway to Hell” to “Back in Black,” you’ll be rocking out until the last chord is struck. This all-female group is dedicated to encouraging women rock fans and works towards rock and roll inclusion by collaborating with other women musicians. Diehard AC/DC Fan? Don’t worry, they are known for their attention to detail when it comes to being a rock-star tribute to the original band. “Hell’s Belles is first and foremost dedicated AC/DC Fanatics,” they say on their website. You don’t have to travel to Australia to have a thrill of a lifetime listening to authentic AC/DC music, Quinault Beach Resort & Casino is bringing them to Grays Harbor with an outdoor concert that is going to blow you away.
Go Hog Wild in Ocean Shores
Don’t just come for the concert though, because you won’t want to miss the rest of the fun of Hog Wild. Sponsored by Quinault Beach Resort & Casino, the weekend includes the annual Hog Wild Motorcycle Run. The run, which spans decades, is the biggest rally in Ocean Shores: people come from all over the country!
All the fun starts Friday, July 23 with the vendor village opening from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Cruise by and check out all the hot items! Then, rock out to Raucous from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
On Saturday, the vendor village will once again be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sign up for the Bikers Parade at 9 a.m. This year, it’s starting at Hoquiam High School and will arrive in Ocean Shores around 10:30 a.m. After the parade, stick around for an entire day of shopping and music, leading up to the Hell’s Belle’s concert. The music schedule for Saturday includes:
- KOSW, 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
- Raucous, 12 p.m. – 2 p.m.
- Working Class Heroes, 3 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Hell’s Belles at Quinault Beach Resort & Casino 8 p.m.
Also happening on Saturday are shows from two motorcycle stunt teams, Cossacks and 1 Wheel Revolution, happening at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., respectively. Cossacks are known for their incredible, gravity-defying tricks on bikes, including an amazing drill team. 1 Wheel Revolution features incredible tricks on Harley-Davidson motorcycles that you have to see to believe!
Check out all the amazing bikes at the bike show (or enter your own). Judging happens from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Then stick around for the tattoo contest from 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. All awards will be handed out at 4:30 p.m. on the Big Stage.
Sunday the revelry continues with the vendor village open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., a church service at 10 a.m., facilitated by Faith Riders, and the stunt teams will once again perform at 11 a.m. (1 Wheel Revolution) and 1 p.m. (Cossacks)
