Created by Lucas Smiraldo and co-written with Charhys Bailey and Antonio Edwards, 11 Days chronicles Dr. King’s life and legacy through 11 spoken word/poetry vignettes that feature dance, shadow play and historic images. This performance focuses on Dr. King’s relationship with communities, how he challenged and changed our nation and his message of honoring the dignity and rights of all. Ultimately the program calls on audiences to reflect on how we can continue Dr. King’s mission and legacy each and every day.
