According to a recent survey from the National Restaurant Association, nearly 30 million Americans will choose to eat Thanksgiving dinner at a restaurant, and this year on Thursday, November 28, restaurants in and around Tacoma are ready to serve up everything from the traditional Turkey Day feast to modern takes on old classics. Pacific Grill in Tacoma is known for hosting an elegant Thanksgiving dinner each year. This year’s dinner will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and feature a deliciously festive spread of Pacific Grill favorites. Chef and owner, Gordon Narccaroto, is a past winner of Food & Wine’s coveted Top Ten Best New Chefs in America. Calling his creations “fun dining” rather than fine dining, Narccaroto’s specialty is crafting the perfect meal to share alongside family and friends, or to celebrate special occasions. Each Thanksgiving, Pacific Grill’s most popular menu item is their Thanksgiving Dinner Plate, featuring carved sage-roasted turkey served with all the trimmings, including wild mushroom stuffing, lumpy mashed potatoes, Grandma Wallsten’s famous gravy, and don’t forget the cranberry sauce with Grand Marnier or the green bean casserole served with crispy onions. Every November, Cliff House provides their guests with an upscale Thanksgiving Dinner experience with a backdrop of panoramic views of the Puget Sound and Mount Rainier. This Thanksgiving, Table 47 in Gig Harbor wants guests to enjoy the flavors of the holiday without any of the hassle. With reservations available from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Table 47 is offering a festive prix fix menu for adults ($35) and children ($20). Each dinner includes the choice of herb-roasted turkey breast carved tableside, honey glazed spiral ham, or winter vegetable ratatouille for the main entrée. Thanksgiving meals include fresh baked dinner rolls, a tarragon candied walnut salad, along with a number of savory side dishes ranging from rosemary and apple whipped potatoes and brussels sprouts with a Beecher’s cheese sauce, to cranberry sauce, herbed gravy, and house-made stuffing. Top off your Thanksgiving feast with Table 47’s “Pumpkin Pie,” featuring pumpkin pie ice cream, meringue, cranberry coulis, candied pecans, graham cracker crumble and crystalized mint.

This long-time favorite neighborhood restaurant is ready to serve up a fantastic Thanksgiving meal – diner style. The Hob Nob’s delicious and affordable Thanksgiving feast for adults ($25) and children ($10) will be available with reservations, as well as limited walk-in seating. Dinner includes the choice of house-roasted turkey or maple baked ham, along with the choice of three side dishes from their mouthwatering spread  including creamy mashed potatoes, a baked potato, sweet potato casserole, mac n cheese, green bean casserole, creamed corn, fried brussels sprouts, maple-glazed rainbow carrots and roasted pumpkin soup. Each plate includes cranberry sauce, stuffing, a dinner role, and the choice pumpkin, apple, or pecan pie for dessert.

The Hub & Harmon Restaurants

The Hub and Harmon restaurants will be celebrating Thanksgiving at their Gig Harbor, South Hill and downtown Tacoma locations. The Hub restaurants in South Hill and Gig Harbor will both be offering a classic turkey dinner from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. featuring carved turkey breast, mashed potatoes and gravy, green bean casserole, along with homestyle turkey gravy, cranberry sauce, fresh baked dinner rolls, and of course pumpkin pie.

While the Harmon Brewing Company in Downtown Tacoma plans to keep its dining room and bar closed for the holiday, this year they will be open for Thanksgiving morning pick-up orders. Call ahead to order the perfect dish or side to bring to your Thanksgiving gathering. Each family meal includes all of the following, and individual dishes can be purchased a la carte.
