12th Annual Tacoma Jazz and Blues Festival

All-star jazz musicians will once again descend on Tacoma for the 12th Annual Tacoma Jazz and Blues Festival. The festival kicks off with one-of-a-kind jazz and blues performances from a variety of artists and ensembles throughout the day. This year’s headliners include Vicci Martinez, Rich Wetzel’s Groovin Higher Orchestra, Mike Vax, Junkyard Jane and many more.

This year, the Festival has moved to a new location on South Tacoma Way that offers festival goers a more intimate music experience. South 54th Street and South 56th Street will be blocked to through traffic, allowing for pedestrian access to various food and craft vendors along South Tacoma Way. In addition, for the first time, the Festival has added a fully stocked beer garden. Festival goers must be 21 years old and present identification in order to enter. Parking is free behind the Stonegate Pizza and Rum Bar and along South Puget Sound Avenue.

Performances will take place throughout the day on four stages and venues located along South Tacoma Way. The All-Star Main Stage will be located outdoors near South 56th Street, with stages also located within the festival area at the Stonegate Pizza and Rum Bar, Dawsons, and Tacoma Dance Studio.
