Gig Harbor Literary Society Inaugural Meeting @ Harbor History Museum | Gig Harbor | Washington | United States

Harbor History Museum and the Gig Harbor branch of the Pierce County Library invite you to join the Gig Harbor Literary Society, dedicated to exploring the literary world of historical fiction, nonfiction, and other works of import. The inaugural meeting of the Gig Harbor Literary Society will be on Tuesday, September 6th at 6:00pm at Harbor History Museum.

The book for the September meeting will be A God In Ruins by acclaimed author, Kate Atkinson. This beautifully written novel explores the life of a WWII bombardier, a fitting choice following the current Bomber Boys: Portraits from the Front exhibit. Gripping, funny, and full of emotion, this book is one you can’t put down…and can’t forget!

Attendees are welcome to bring an appetizer or dish to share with fellow bibliophiles. The Museum will provide complimentary non-alocoholic beverages. Enjoy a drink while you talk books? You are welcome to BYOW! (Bring Your Own Wine!) Museum and PCL staff will lead the discussion. Materials will be available for checkout at the Gig Harbor branch of the Pierce County Library, as well as for purchase online at Amazon.com.
