The Aviation Trio @ Harbor History Museum | Gig Harbor | Washington | United States

Harbor History Museum is proud to present the Seattle-based jazz ensemble, The Aviation Trio Featuring Alexander Dyring on March 17 for their first-ever performance in Gig Harbor. With fresh and eclectic sounds, this trio is the perfect way to kick off springtime Third Thursday Concerts at the Museum.

Bandleader Alexander Dyring, graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston, brings a unique musical repertoire to the stage. The son of a professional violist with the Seattle Symphony Orchestra, Dyring draws from his early exposure to classical music as well as his Colombian heritage. His professional career is just as diverse; Dyring has performed with everyone from hip-hop legend Pete Rock to jazz and funk greats like Victor Wooten.

For this performance, Dyring is also accompanied by two notable regional musicians: Shawn Schlogel (piano), one of the top-call pianists in the Northwest and teacher at Bellevue College; and Jeremy Jones (drums), a long-time Pacific Northwest performer whose collaborations include the GRAMMY-nominated album, The Heist, by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.

Light appetizers and cash bar are available.
