Earth Day Craft Beer Caravan

Some of the finest craft beer from around the south Puget Sound will flow at the Harmon Tap Room on Earth Day to celebrate a sustainable achievement, Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) labels for their beers. A group of progressive brewers have obtained a life-cycle based eco-label through the Institute for Environmental Research and Education’s (IERE) Earthsure program, by using a life cycle assessment software tool. Partial funding for the project was provided by the City of Tacoma – the first Life Cycle City in America.
