Galloping Gertie Half Marathon @ Gig Harbor to Tacoma | Gig Harbor | Washington | United States

September 5, 2015 will be a day of fitness and fun for running enthusiasts and entire families.  Join us for the 6th Annual Galloping Gertie Half Marathon, a chip-timed run offering spectacular views across the Tacoma Narrows Bridge and back; and recognition to top finishers. Families can enjoy a leisurely 5K Fun Run/Walk (does not cross Narrows Bridge).

Pre-race packet pickup and late registration is Friday September 4 from noon to 6:00 p.m. at Pizzeria Fondi in the Uptown Shopping Center. Parking on the day of the event will be across the street from the Uptown Shopping Center at Harbor Plaza. Traffic control volunteers will be on hand to direct. Check-in on Saturday September 5 begins at 6:30 a.m. at the Galaxy Theater lobby in the Uptown Shopping Center.
