Mark your calendars and experience the holiday magic at the annual University Place Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration in Market Square – always the first Saturday in December.
Join us for the arrival of Santa, entertainment, crafts and food in Santa’s Loft, the Christmas Tree Lighting, and an abundance of holiday cheer! Make sure to get a picture with Santa (and confide your secret wishes), cozy up with a warm winter treat by the fire, or gather near the outdoor fireplace surrounded by the holiday lights in the evening. Refreshments will be provided by Whole Foods Market, Jersey Mikes Subs and the Frog n Kiwi Cafe. University Place Winter Fest will feature live musical and dance performances by local schools and organizations, plus you won’t want to miss the special performances by the Dickens Carolers!
