Growing up with Christmas – A Christmas Handbell Concert

The Rainier Ringers Community Handbell Ensemble presents their Christmas concert ” GROWING UP WITH CHRISTMAS”. The music selection features three different views of Christmas that we might have as we grow up. As a child, many of us enjoyed (and still enjoy) animated TV shows like “A Charlie Brown Christmas” or “The Year Without a Santa Claus”. As we grew older, Christmas may have had more of the romantic focus, giving the perfect gift to the one you love or enjoying a sleigh ride with that special someone. And eventually we come to realize the true meaning of Christmas. Several of our other selections from these three phases include “Last Christmas” by Wham, “O Holy Night” and Mannheim Steamroller’s version of “Angels We Have Heard on High”.
